It is a triple Irish Chain pattern with the other chains being a solid peach and a grassy green check. The original quilting designs are stitched in a green thread to stand out in the white areas inside the chains and in the borders. Flower wreaths and vines, a feather swirl, leaves and zig zag and undilating line make up the quilting designs. Making the seam one-half inch and pressing it open is also helpful.
